MotoSmartphones website launches

We are pleased to announce the launch of a new mobile phone website, called Moto Smartphones (http://www.motosmartphones.com) which has been set up to assist users of Motorola’s Z8 and other model smartphones. It is an independent website, in no way connected to Motorola Inc. but aims to promote and provide support for their smartphone products.

The website includes, among other items, a news section, a frequently asked questions section, support forums for user to user support and a downloads section offering UIQ themes, firmwares (where available) and links to freeware and shareware applications. In the near future we will be launching a non-profit scheme to test, report on, and certify applications as being compatible with the Motorola Z8 and any other, future, non-touchscreen UIQ phones. The scheme encompasses all types of software, both free / shareware and commercial software. It is impartial and both free and non-binding to both MotoSmartphones.com and the software developer.

The MotoSmartphones.com website builds on the work done by SendoSmartphones.com and is run by a small number of people, all enthusiasts of the Sendo X, Motorola Z8  and other Symbian based UIQ & S60 smartphones. The site is UK based, and is not being positioned as a commercial activity.

Review: Sendo X2 - the good, bad and ugly!
As anyone who's read this site in the last two months can't fail to have noticed, Sendo has gone into administration, so won't be releasing the X2 or any other handset. However, that didn't stop us from begging our friends and sources for any information they had about review models of the X2. We've now got some of that information,  so read on to find out all that is good, bad and ugly about the now extinct Sendo X2.
