It seems that Motorola have slipped on the release of the MotoRIZR Z8 handset and put it's availability date back to May. Unconfirmed reports indicate the middle of the month for shipments, meaning the phone should be in stores by the last week of May. 

 

Information gleaned from, of all places, the Daily Telegraph,  indicates that in a competition being run by the newspaper to visit the base  camp of Mount Everest, the MotoRIZR Z8 is also going to feature in an attempt to break the Guinnes World record for the highest ever phone call.
