As many regular readers of this site will know, rumours have been around ever since Motorola bought Sendo that we would, one day, see a Motorola branded "Sendo" phone. However, in the year and a half that's passed since Sendo's demise nothing has been seen... until now! We're going to stick our necks out here and say that Motorola ARE going to launch a "Sendo" phone, and that launch might not be very far away!
While we've been wrong about the launch of the fabled "Sendorola" phone in the past, the rumours which always precede a major mobile show are getting louder and stronger now. We predict that Motorola will launch a UIQ3 based phone, based at least in part on a Sendo design, as soon as the upcoming 3GSM conference in Barcelona next month. And it's not just us who think this, All About Symbian also predict Motorola to launch a new UIQ phone this year!
While we know virtually nothing about this new phone, rumours tell us that it is going to be right at the cutting edge of phones currently on the market - lets hope so, because Sony Ericsson have had it all a bit too easy in the UIQ marketplace recently! {mos_smf_discuss} |
