No show at the Smartphones Show

Reporting live from the Smartphones Show in London, we can now confirm that there will not be any anouncement from Motorola about the fabled "Sendorola" phone they are rumoured to be developing.

As we have reported numerous times in the past, rumours of a Motorola branded "Sendo" phone have been rife ever since Motorola bought Sendo almost a year and a half ago.

Unfortunatelty with the continued lack of news from Motorola, it is still not known for definite if this device even exists, let alone when it will be launched to the public. Speaking to the various people at the Smartphones Show has so far failed to shed any light onto these rumours.

What we can tell you from the show is that both Samsung and LG have launched new Series 60 phones. Both of them are of the slider format and both sport S60 version 3.1 (feature release 1) with support for HSDPC as well as the now standard 3G and EDGE data offerings.

Also on display is Nokia's new N95 - even though this device is not due to be launched until Q1 / Q2 2007, it is already looking like a very formidable product.

Details of both these devices can be found on the All About Symbian website, along with their exhaustive coverage of the show.
